Listen, I never leave reviews. Like neeeever, but when I tell you I came from out of town (Memphis, TN to be exact) and this food was worth the entire 9hour drive here! To say it was delicious would be an understatement! It was so so so so good! Like I took the lid off and steam was coming out the plate!!!! This place is 20 mins away from me! I was knocked off my feet!!!! The oxtails were falling off the bones yall!!! The greens were perfectly seasoned!!! The potatoes were so tasty! I did not know what I was getting myself into with this plate but I am so happy I happened upon this gem!!! I will be getting some every time I come into town now!!!! Hands down the best dmn food Ive ever had here or there!!!! Most satisfying meal I have had in years! I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not because how have I never found this place before now. Btw, I ordered the Ox Tails (Large Platter) With Steamed White Rice & Gravy You have to try it!

Red Beans & Rice was pretty good, but unfortunately that is about it. The Chicken Wings (3 Flats & 3 Drums) w/ Seasoned Fries was not worth it in my opinion. I ordered Sweet and spicy flavor, but the sweet and spicy was not there at all, the wings were more so salty. The wings were also placed on top of the fries in the container so a lot of the fries were soft but they were pretty good. The Lemon Pound Cake was just ok, it had a dry consistency.

this food is nothing like the picture i order the large catfish platter with baked mac and cabbage. the cabbage was the best thing in the meal they gave me three strips literally resembling tiny wax strips and the baked mac and cheese had to flavor at all tasted like milk honestly i'm disappointed because i really was looking forward to trying a solid food place other than mikkis and being able to compare the two . my husband got the oxtail platter and there was about 4 oxtails and a bunch of gravy and no rice no nothing i'm gonna give this place one more try but this first impression was not it for us

This was my first time trying this place. I was surprisingly pleased. The oxtail were tender and meaty. Personally, I would have preferred more seasoning, but they were good. The corn and the mashed potatoes were delicious, I could just order those 2 items and be content. I will definitely be revisiting.
